Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences Mangalore is Part of Srinivas Group of Institution. Srinivas Group of Institution was founded by late A. Shama Rao born in 1909 in Aroor, a village in Udupi Taluk. Founders Adka Shama Rao and Shrimathi Indiramma believed that education is a weapon to transform society. Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences was started in the year 2003. The college is situated in the Valachil Campus and it offers B.Sc. (Nursing), Post Certificate in B.Sc.(Nursing), M.Sc. (Nursing) programmes. Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. All programmes are recognized Karnataka Government, Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
